Christmas Day!

This Christmas was a little different for us. Aaron had to work Christmas morning and did not come home until 1:30. Kodi didn't really understand his presents from Santa but he did enjoy opening them. Maybe next year Aaron will have Christmas off!

We were able to enjoy Christmas Eve at my Dad's house with my Brother Eli and Sister Ashley along with Tara and her Family.

It was a great time to be with everyone. Dakota got some Thomas the Train, trains and loves them. He got a Cars hat and mittens from my Dad and loves them to death. He did not want to take them off when we got home. He even wore them the on Christmas morning while he was trying to eat.

Dakota loves all this presents he got from Santa and doesn't want to share with his cousin Haleigh at all. Which makes life a little more fun for me.

From Grandma and Papa (Aaron's parents) he got another lizard blanket which he put all his toys on from Santa and played with them until we went to my Mom's house for Christmas. Over all it was a great day!

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Putting up the Christmas Tree!

It was finally time for us to get a Christmas Tree. I think Aaron was trying his hardest to get by without one, but it was time. We decided on this beautiful tree. Unfortunity our ceiling is not a 9 foot ceiling which I thought but Aaron was sure it was more than 9 feet. Needless to say we don't have the top of our tree, but it looks good with the star on top.

Dakota loved playing in the box that the tree came in. They both colored the box and played in for about 2 hours. What great and easy fun. The tree took about 4 hours to complete and I am hoping that Aaron is happy with the way the tree turned about.

While deciding on what kinds of ornaments to get for our tree we figured the best would be the non glass ones. Dakota and Haleigh both were able to put on the tree a snowglobe ornment that is soft and lights ups. They both love it. Dakota loves to turn on the tree and just sit by the tree.

Christmas Cookies

While Tara was here the kids and Auntie Erica made some Christmas Cookies. It was great fun, they were able to cut out the different shapes and than frost them. Inara loved to eat the dough and Dakota loved to frost the cookies.

They has a wonderful time!

Chef Kodi

Kodi decide one night to put on Aaron's Chef hat he got down at Disney. Kodi thought it was pretty fun to watch Ratatouille and have the hat on.

Right now as Dakota is getting ready for Baby River to come he enjoys playing with us and loves to kiss my growing belly. He is a very gentle with my stomach and talks about his Baby all the time. We are enjoying the Holiday season, our first snow storm of the year was a good one. Dakota at first was not sure about putting on his snow pants and gave us a really big fight.
Once he figured out he needed to have them on so he won't get cold, he loved it out side. He has played outside for the past three days. He just loves it.
We are getting ready for him to sleep in his big boy bed. It is a work in progress. I am just praying that he will finally get it. We almost have the bedtime routine down, and he loves having us read him books and listen to scripture scouts.

I wanted to share a wonderful product that as come into my life. It is called Isagenix, as you all know by now we are expecting in March and already having one child is hard but with one on the way and one who never stops. Isagenix was an answer to my prayers. I have never felt better in my life.

I have the energy I need to be a good mother to Dakota, and I am able to stay healthy and get all the minerals, vitamins and nurtines I need in order to keep my body going with River. I have also been able to keep the weight down not gain so much.

Dakota is loving taking the vitamins and Haleigh loves the Chocolate shake in the morning. I love taking my daily shake and my vitamins.

Outside pictures

A couple of days ago it was really warm, the last day it was 70 degrees for the season. I took the kids outside to play on the playground and took some pictures of them.

Play time at the Children's Museum

Last friday I took Haleigh Dakota to the Children's Museum. We had a blast playing with all the cool rooms they had. There are two special events right now, Curious Georege and Seame Street.

We played in the Your Community Rooms, which they loved. It has a Metro Bus they can play in, a bank, grocery store, music store, post office, and much more. Dakota loved playing on the bus and waving at the people and kids walking by.

We went into the water room, which Dakota spent half of his time in. He loved playing with the bubble tank, and the flowing water channels. Haleigh like the movie theater and the building blocks room.

We than left and had lunch with Aaron at his work. Which Dakota always loves going and seeing Daddy at work.

Tiny Vacation to Madison

This past weekend Aaron was lucky enough to get a three day weekend. We decide to head down and see Tara and Scott and the kids. Dakota was really great in the car, and loved being at his cousins house all weekend.

It was very fun to see Inara and Dakota playing and both of the get mad at each other for not sharing the toys.

Johnny and the Sprites

I was looking in the Sunday paper and saw that Target was putting on a Book Fair for kids. There was alot of entertainment and to my surprise Johnny and the Sprites were going to be there. Dakota and Haleigh both love watching Johnny. The best part was it was all FREE!! I thought for sure we would have to get to the park right when it opened up and have to sit in the way back, but we didn't.

We were able to get a seat up close to the stage. We also saw the girl who does Dora's voice, that was a little weird. She was talking normal to us and than she read a book in Dora's voice and I have not been able to watch Dora the same. Inara was a little confused by the whole thing, she loves Dora.

We Are Having another little BOY

It is always exciting to add another little baby to our Family. We found out yesterday our little baby is a boy.

Dakota is very excited to have a baby in the family. Enjoy some of the pictures we got.

Playing with Dad

It seems that Aaron has started a fun playtime when he gets home from work. He has started to give both kids piggy backrides. The kids love it. It was really funny the other day, he was playing with them and they rode on his back for a little bit than Aaron stood up and ran around the Living Room.

Than he stop and dumped them off onto the couch. Haleigh looked up at me and said "Wow that was amazing." We got a good laugh out of it.

Our New Home

As most people would know, we had been living with my parents for the past two years. We finally are in our new apartment. It's not big but it's a place of our very own. Kodi loves having his own place to put all his toys.
Finally I am able to buy this for my house. Kodi loves being able to jump around and jumping off the couch on to the floor. He and Haleigh love playing between the couch and the chair. They make forts and like to fall in between the two, with a blanket.
Along with having our own place we are lucky to have Katy and Haleigh live down the hall from us and Erica live on the second floor. It's a great place to be, family is very close.
