Christmas Day!

This Christmas was a little different for us. Aaron had to work Christmas morning and did not come home until 1:30. Kodi didn't really understand his presents from Santa but he did enjoy opening them. Maybe next year Aaron will have Christmas off!

We were able to enjoy Christmas Eve at my Dad's house with my Brother Eli and Sister Ashley along with Tara and her Family.

It was a great time to be with everyone. Dakota got some Thomas the Train, trains and loves them. He got a Cars hat and mittens from my Dad and loves them to death. He did not want to take them off when we got home. He even wore them the on Christmas morning while he was trying to eat.

Dakota loves all this presents he got from Santa and doesn't want to share with his cousin Haleigh at all. Which makes life a little more fun for me.

From Grandma and Papa (Aaron's parents) he got another lizard blanket which he put all his toys on from Santa and played with them until we went to my Mom's house for Christmas. Over all it was a great day!

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Putting up the Christmas Tree!

It was finally time for us to get a Christmas Tree. I think Aaron was trying his hardest to get by without one, but it was time. We decided on this beautiful tree. Unfortunity our ceiling is not a 9 foot ceiling which I thought but Aaron was sure it was more than 9 feet. Needless to say we don't have the top of our tree, but it looks good with the star on top.

Dakota loved playing in the box that the tree came in. They both colored the box and played in for about 2 hours. What great and easy fun. The tree took about 4 hours to complete and I am hoping that Aaron is happy with the way the tree turned about.

While deciding on what kinds of ornaments to get for our tree we figured the best would be the non glass ones. Dakota and Haleigh both were able to put on the tree a snowglobe ornment that is soft and lights ups. They both love it. Dakota loves to turn on the tree and just sit by the tree.

Christmas Cookies

While Tara was here the kids and Auntie Erica made some Christmas Cookies. It was great fun, they were able to cut out the different shapes and than frost them. Inara loved to eat the dough and Dakota loved to frost the cookies.

They has a wonderful time!

Chef Kodi

Kodi decide one night to put on Aaron's Chef hat he got down at Disney. Kodi thought it was pretty fun to watch Ratatouille and have the hat on.

Right now as Dakota is getting ready for Baby River to come he enjoys playing with us and loves to kiss my growing belly. He is a very gentle with my stomach and talks about his Baby all the time. We are enjoying the Holiday season, our first snow storm of the year was a good one. Dakota at first was not sure about putting on his snow pants and gave us a really big fight.
Once he figured out he needed to have them on so he won't get cold, he loved it out side. He has played outside for the past three days. He just loves it.
We are getting ready for him to sleep in his big boy bed. It is a work in progress. I am just praying that he will finally get it. We almost have the bedtime routine down, and he loves having us read him books and listen to scripture scouts.

I wanted to share a wonderful product that as come into my life. It is called Isagenix, as you all know by now we are expecting in March and already having one child is hard but with one on the way and one who never stops. Isagenix was an answer to my prayers. I have never felt better in my life.

I have the energy I need to be a good mother to Dakota, and I am able to stay healthy and get all the minerals, vitamins and nurtines I need in order to keep my body going with River. I have also been able to keep the weight down not gain so much.

Dakota is loving taking the vitamins and Haleigh loves the Chocolate shake in the morning. I love taking my daily shake and my vitamins.
